Remember: there's a known bug that means not all nominated tags will appear in the dropdown! If you encounter this, copy and paste the tag straight from the tagset (not the spreadsheet) and it should work.

Please note that requests and the tagset will contain Endgame spoilers.

Instructions:

• You must request a minimum of 2 characters and/or relationships (1-5 per request slot; maximum 50). You can request fanfic and/or fanart.


• You must offer a minimum of 3 characters and/or relationships (1-5 per request slot; maximum 50). You can offer fanfic and/or fanart.


• Note: crossover relationships will not count toward these minimums (i.e. you must request 2 and offer 3 characters/ships in addition to any crossovers.


• Please include anything you absolutely don't want to receive (Do Not Wants) in the Optional Details field in your AO3 signup. In the event that a DNW is included in your gift, only reasonable DNWs noted in your signup will be enforced.


• Optional details may be included in your signup in order to give your gift creator further details on your likes and dislikes. This is optional.


• Dear Creator letters may be linked to in your signup in order to give your gift creator further details on your likes and dislikes. These are optional.


• You can edit or delete your signup as long as signups are open.


• You are only guaranteed to match on one character/relationship and one medium (fic or art).

I'm new at this, I just wanted to make sure. If I make 3 different requests, only one will be chosen and only one request will be assigned to me? Thank you.

That's exactly right, yes!

If you make three requests, or indeed if you make thirty, you'll only be assigned one recipient to write/draw one request for.

Your assignment will display all the requests your recipient made, but you only have to fulfill one of them. e.g. if they request Nick Fury, Steve Rogers/Natasha Romanov, and Peter Parker & Shuri, you only have to write/draw one of those, not all three.

At least one character/relationship in your assignment will be something you offered. You have to write/draw a character or relationship in your recipient's requests, but it doesn't have to be the one you matched on if you prefer to fulfill another of your recipient's requests instead.

You're also only guaranteed one gift (assuming you fulfill your assignment); your gift creator will only be obliged to write/draw one of your requests.

Each request and offer slot in the signup form can contain 1-5 characters or relationships. This is because AO3 only allows 10 request slots and the exchange allows up to 50 characters/relationships to be requested. Basically: if you put the tags Peter Parker, T'Challa/Nakia, and Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes in one request slot, that doesn't mean that your gift creator has to include all three things; they only have to include one.
